Description

Tri-Color Couscous is a traditional couscous blended with Spinach and Tomato flavored couscous. Tri-Color Couscous offers a chef a colorful presentation with minimal labor. Couscous is a national dish of Algeria & Morocco made from semolina, a hard wheat, by rolling and steaming.
To Prepare: Saute 1 1/2 c. Couscous in 2 Tbsp butter (opt.) for 5 minutes. Add 2 c boiling water or bouillon, cover, simmer 5 min. Salt to taste.
Delicious with raisins, onion, fish, or meat added. Can be used as rice or bulgur, as a side salad, added to soups, mixed with sauteed vegetables, and as a cereal.
