Add 1 3/4 parts of any liquid – water, fruit juice, bouillon, milk – to 1 part Bulgur. Absorption (re-constitution) takes place in 30-40 min. if liquid is cool. If liquid is hot or boiling, about 20 min. The reconstituted product can then be served as a cereal or blended into a recipe. Hamburger patties: 1/4 c. reconstituted Bulgur, 1 lb ground beef, 1/2 tsp salt. Fry or boil to taste. 3-4 servings. Side Dish: 1 c. DRY Bulgur from the bag, 1 Tbsp chopped onions, 2 Tbsp veg. oil, 2 c. chicken bouillon, salt and pepper to taste. Lightly brown onions in oil. Add dry Bulgur; stir till well blended and heated. Add broth, seasonings. Cover, simmer 20 min. 3-4 Servings.
