Ground Ceylon Cinnamon has a sweet and spicy flavor and warm fragrance. Ceylon cinnamon has a more delicate and sweet flavor than cassia cinnamon. This variety is great for baking in sweet treats and breads. Native to Sri Lanka and southern parts of India, ceylon cinnamon has a lighter color and smoother texture than others. Some refer to this as the “true cinnamon” over a cassia cinnamon.
