Chili powder is most commonly used to season chili. It also shows up in enchiladas, spice rubs, and other Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes.

Ingredients: Chili Peppers, Cumin, Oregano, Garlic, Salt.

 

 

Is dark chili powder the same as chili powder?
Dark Chili Powder. Chili powders are a mixture of chili and other spices such as cumin, garlic and oregano. Darker chili powder has a deeper, more complex flavor, while mild chili powder has a bit less heat and lower flavor intensity.
Easy Quick Chili:  1 Lb gr. beef, 1 onion, chopped,1 can stewed tomatoes, 1 can tomato sauce,1 can kidney beans, 1 1/2 cups water, 1Tbsp. chili powder, salt and pepper to taste. Brown meat , add other ingredients, simmer 15 minutes.
Egg Tacos: 12 eggs, 1 c. milk, 2 Tbsp Chili Powder, 4 lg taco shells. Blend: eggs, milk, Chili Powder; scramble in oiled pan. Serve in taco shells. Add cheese,tomato, onion, yogurt, salsa.
