Description

Cardamom seeds, also known as decorticated cardamom, are a highly aromatic spice cherished in various regional cuisines worldwide. One of the most expensive spices, alongside vanilla and saffron, cardamom owes its high cost to the labor-intensive harvesting process. The majority of cardamom on the global market is grown in Guatemala and India, where the climate and soil conditions are ideal for its cultivation.

Culinary Uses:

Cardamom is incredibly versatile and can be used in both sweet and savory dishes. It’s a staple in Indian cuisine, often found in curries, rice dishes, and desserts. In Middle Eastern and Scandinavian cuisines, cardamom is a popular ingredient in pastries and breads.
