our History
Niblack Foods began as a bakery that milled its own flour and specialized in whole grain breads, cookies and pastries.
Certain products like toasted wheat germ, pancake mixes, cookies and granolas were sold wholesale to a growing number of health food or whole food stores. Spices, flavors and seasoning blends were added as we became a resource for specialty ingredients.
Today, Niblack label products are still produced with the same desire to make a quality contribution to the table.
Simple ingredients are milled, mixed, or toasted, to produce value added products that fill a need in the retail whole foods, food service, and industrial food trades.

our Retail Store
We are located at 900 Jefferson Rd. in the Genesee Valley Regional Market, Bldg 6. Our retail hours are Monday through Friday 8:30-5:00pm and Saturday 8:30-4:00pm.
From the first time you step inside and smell the aroma of spices, you’ll know that you’ve arrived somewhere totally unique.
We carry a large selection of both common and hard to find products and many are available in different quantities. Our selection of flours, flavors and extracts, as well as other baking ingredients are popular with both the professional and home baker. You’ll also find a wide variety of beans, lentils, TVP, rices and grains such as wheat berries and quinoa, making healthy eating choices easy to find.
Our collection of BBQ and Hot Sauces are probably one of the largest around and many of the brands are produced locally. We also have a large selection of spices, rub blends and seasonings making us a playground for the backyard chef or culinary master.

at the Public Market
We are at the Rochester Public Market on Saturdays, May through December.
We carry a sampling of most products sold at the store, including hot sauces, grains, rices, dried fruits & nuts, and of course spices. If there’s something you want and don’t see, let us know and we’ll try to have it the following week.
